British Airways has endured a huge Data Breach in which Bank card information of more than 380,000 customers has been compromised by the Hacker.
English Airways said it had informed the police and “significant experts” about the rupture as soon as they come to know about the whole incident.
According to British aircraft, clients who made the booking on its site or application from 10.58pm on Tuesday, August 21, until 9.45pm on Wednesday, September 5, had been imperiled.
“Around 380,000 payment cards were endangered, however, the stolen data did not include passport or travel details,” said British Airways.
The organization said the breach had been settled and the website is now working as usual.
English Airways’ chairman and CEO Alex Cruz said, “We are deeply sorry for the disruption that this criminal activity has caused. We take the protection of our customers’ data very seriously.”
The company now is communicating with the affected clients and advised clients to contact their bank or card guarantor in the principal case and follow their recommended advice.
